Super Star Rajinikanth’s animation movie Sultan the Warrior is renamed as Hara. This movie is a much an awaited 3D animated film directed by Rajinikanth’s second daughter Soundarya.

This project was started nearly 3 years before and the film has not been released yet due to some reasons. Sources revealed that, the film will be taken over by K.S.RaviKumar from now. The shoot for this will be in live action with Super Star Rajini. Animation part will be handled by Soundarya Ashwin.

A.R.Rahman has scored the music for this film. The film will have 5 tracks and is believed that the songs will be shot by K.S.RaviKumar.

Using some stereographic techniques from the movie Avatar, Hara film will be made. Hara is the first ever 3D animation feature film in India.

Bollywood's ace director Anurag Kashyap, known for Black Friday (2004), No Smoking (2007), Dev D (2009) and Gulaal (2009), is reportedly planning to introduce Prithviraj in Bollywood with a movie produced by him.

Prithviraj, who has earlier rejected quite a few Bollywood offers, and the first round discussion took place in Mumbai last week. Prithviraj is said to be interested in the subject and if happens, the film will be directed by Anurag's assistant.

Malayalam actor Dileep's latest flick Karyasthan, directed by debut director Thomson and produced by Anto Joseph under the banner of Mammootty's Play House, has been confirmed for release during Deepavali. According to sources, the film will release in 100 plus theatres on November 5.

In this movie Dileep playing the financial caretaker (Karyasthan) of a wealthy family which is at constant loggerheads with another family. Veteran actors Madhu and G.K. Pillai will be the heads of the two families.

script writed by Siby K. Thomas and Udayakrishnan. The heroine is a new face. Also in the cast are Salim Kumar, Harisri Asokan, Siddique and Biju Menon.

Action king Arjun’s Vallakottai is all set to release for Diwali. Earlier it was announced that Arjun’s Massi and Vallakottai both were releasing for Diwali, but the trade objected that the both the films looks similar. Arjun playing cop role in both the movies and both of them are action packed movies.

A dispute had sparked between the producers of the Maasi and Vallakottai. As they want to release their own films for diwali, but action star Arjun came in and resolved the issue by clearing that his preference will be for Vallakottai. So at last the director A Venkatesh and the producer has announced the release of Vallakottai date as November 5.

Vallkottai is going to release in 14 screens in Chennai as per Chennai theatre listing.

Malyalam hot glamours and talented actress Swetha Menon has been awarded the Sreevidya Purasakaram for 2010. The award has been instituted by the MLV Sreevidya Charitable Society.

Swetha has been awarded the honor for her performance in the film 'Palery Manickyam - Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha'.

Meera Jasmine and Priyamani have been the former recipients of the award.

Society President K B Ganesh Kumar MLA said that the award would be handed over to Swetha at a grand event that would be organised in December.

According to the mediators who talked with both the families for an amicable solution, there will be no more discussion on the issues in public and that Kavya will withdraw the petition filed against Nishal under the Domestic Violence Act.
