Bharth Mohanlal busy with his latest project 'Arabeem Ottakavum Pine Madhavan Nairum', in Abudhabi.

The movie directed by Priyadharshan will tell the story of two friends living in Middle East through mistaken identity and kidnapping. The adventure movie which is a sharp departure from Priyan style of comedies and drama, is being shot at Jabal Hafeet and Yas Island and the raw desert.

Malayalee cute actress Nithya Menon who is making a mark in other south Indian languages, has started to make a try in playback singing too. She has already lend her voice for two songs in her new Telugu movie 'Alamo Deleinthi'. The industry circuits says that both the songs are already big hits. Nithya who is very happy to hear her songs add that she still likes to croon for more songs in films.

Nithya will have a new Tamil release in 'Veppam', which will get to theatres in the coming weeks. She is also appearing in the new Malayalam movie 'Violin' which is directed by Sibi Malayil.

Bollywood super hero Shahrukh khan has decided to join the popular social networking site “Facebook”. Shah Rukh Khan, who had quit twitter wasn’t interested in joining join any social networking site, but has changed his mind for his fans. His face book page will be launched today with the online premiere of his 22-minute documentary on Mughal-E-Azam.

A Mumbai tabloid reported that he hopes to get support from the Indian Government and film associations in the future who will come together to create a forum to preserve such classic films and use Facebook to reach out to a wider audience. It is learnt that Shah Rukh Khan will also be promoting his forthcoming film Ra.One through Facebook.

Ileana D’Cruz, the tall and sexy actress makes her comeback in Kollywood with Shankar’s Nanban. The actress sure does wants to make her presence felt on her return to Kollywood. She began by demanding Rs. 2 crores remuneration for the movie, the highest pay packet ever demanded by a South Indian actress.

The shocked producers, Gemini Film Circuit, were unwilling to pay the record amount, but realised that unless they negotiated with her, the successful Ileana would give them the slip. Finally, they agreed on Rs. 1.5 crores, which is still the highest remuneration for any actress in South India.

Ileana’s popularity has multiplied in Tollywood, as she is appearing in Shakti opposite Junior NTR. The movie holds the record for being the costliest movie ever made in Tollywood. The actress was able to leverage this popularity and demand more in Tollywood, which resulted in her next project being signed for 1.75 crores and another in Bollywood for 2 crores.

Her Kollywood comeback movie is a remake of the Hindi blockbuster 3 Idiots. Ileana will reprise the role of Pia (which was originally played by Kareena Kapoor). Call it coincidence or the quality of the character, Kareena was recently announced as the costliest actress in Bollywood, after she was paid Rs. 7 crores for her role in Golmaal 3.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, who essays the role of Silk Smitha in The Dirty Picture, says that portraying the southern seductress will not be a difficult job for her.

"I don’t think it is difficult to portray a real-life character like Silk Smitha. People know her through her work, through films and songs," said Vidya.

However, the actress said it would be challenging to portray characters of prominent personalities.

"It would be challenging if I play a character based on Indira Gandhi as people know her mannerisms and you can’t go wrong for a person of this stature who was a Prime Minister. She continues to be a prominent and respectable person. Even in that case to play Amitabh Bachchan would be challenging," she said.

"With Silk Smitha it is going to be more of my personal interpretation than her impersonation," she added.

Portraying real-life characters is not a new thing for the Ishiqiya girl, who played Sabrina Lal in her previous film No One Killed Jessica.

In Milan Luthria The Dirty Picture, a biopic based on the life and death of Silk Smitha, Vidya would be seen in a complete different avatar, alongside Emraan Hashmi, Tusshar Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah.

The film is an ode to the life of the southern sexy siren Vijaylakshmi, better known as Silk Smitha, and her journey to stardom followed by her sudden demise, the actress said.

Yong actor Prithviraj full time comedy entertianer movie titled as ' Teja Bhai and family' Directed by Deepu Karunakaran after his previous hit 'Crazy Gopalan'

'No films in the past with dons as heroes dealt with the lighter side of them. It was one such thought that led me into this film' says Deepu who also scripts the movie.

'Teja Bhai and Family' will have locations at Malaysia and Thiruvananthapuram. The movie will have 15 days of shoot at Malaysia.

The movie produced by Santha Muraleedharan and P K Muraleedharan in the banner of Anantha films is expected to be on sets at the capital city, by the 29th of March.
